This page is dedicated to my pets; my turtle and my tropical fish. I have noticed that even among people who like reptiles the emphasis is always on snakes or lizards; it's time to give turtles some attention too.

This picture is my pet tortoise, Turbo. Turbo was named Simon until I realized that "he" was a "she" and Simon didn't really fit. Turbo is an African Spur Thigh tortoise. I have a few other pictures of Turbo here.

I keep hearing that people and their pets are usually alike; and I have to say that Turbo and I do share some traits. For example; Turbo is very anti-social and introverted (in fact, whenever a new person enters the room she pulls all her limbs into her shell); and so am I! Turbo's favorite (actually, her only) activities are eating and sleeping. Same with me! Uncanny, I know..

I also have several tropical fish in a 25 gallon aquarium. I haven't found good ways to photograph them yet, but you can view the attempts here.
